Welcome - About Etan

Etan Harwayne-Gidansky is a writer, director and improv comic from New York City. Since 2003, he has written comedy in various forms including sketch, stand up, travel newsletters and three feature screenplays.

He is a founding member of the lauded improv team, "Population: Larry," which performs regularly around New York City.

Etan's production experience dates back to 2006 when he worked on multiple film and television set. He has many staring, off camera roles including Assistant Director for 2nd Unit of Michael Clayton and On-Set Coordinator for Stunts Unit of I Am Legend.

Etan has produced and directed several shorts, a feature film and a spec music video for O.A.R.'s song "Heard The World" (below).
